What's new with iOS 13, iPadOS 13, macOS Catalina, watchOS 6, and tvOS 13

It's that software update time of year. Here's all the details for all five operating systems for Apple devices.

Apple is releasing major software updates for all its hardware brands over the coming weeks with some of them, like iOS 13 watchOS 6, and tvOS 13 available September 19, while  iPadOS 13 launches September 30 and macOS Catalina will be available sometime in October. Here's what's new in Apple's major software releases.

iOS 13

iOS 13 is going dark! You can to switch between dark and light themes across iOS and even select a dynamic wallpaper, which changes from dark to light, depending on the time of day. Apple Maps has some improvements, the biggest of which is "Look Around," which is like Street View on steroids. We've got some security changes with Sign In with Apple and HomeKit Secure Video.
