Apple acquired Shazam back in late 2017 (https://9to5mac.com/2017/12/11/apple-buying-shazam/) (the deal closed in 2018), and now the company has announced that the application has crossed 200 million monthly active users.

Shazam is available as a standalone app in the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/shazam-music-discovery/id284993459) and the Google Play Store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.shazam.android&hl=en_GB&gl=US), as well as available through Siri, and recently made its way into Control Center with iOS 14.2 (https://9to5mac.com/2020/09/17/ios-14-2-beta-adds-new-control-center-toggle-for-built-in-shazam-music-recognition/). (The 200 million figure does not count Siri requests as an active user.)
