<p>Apple rates the iPhone 12 (https://9to5mac.com/guides/iphone-12) as able to withstand up to 6 meters of water for 30 minutes, and a new video from CNET (https://www.cnet.com/news/iphone-12-water-test-we-tested-it-way-beyond-the-claim/#ftag=CAD590a51e) puts that claim to the test with a pair of experiments. One tests Apple’s claim of 19.6 feet of water for 30 minutes and another to see if the iPhone 12 could beat that claim at 65 feet of water.</p>
