Today, Ming-Chi Kuo reiterated that he expects the next-generation of AirPods Pro (https://amzn.to/3AdLCdN) to arrive next year and feature ‘innovative’ health tracking functionality. This lines up with an earlier report from Bloomberg (https://9to5mac.com/2021/05/28/bloomberg-apple-readying-new-third-gen-airpods-fitness-tracking-airpods-pro-in-2022/).

However, in the near term, Kuo is cutting his estimates for Apple’s headphones shipments, mainly because of increasing competition and lack of new AirPods models. However, the recent release of the Beats-branded Studio Buds (https://amzn.to/3hlU7L7) will offset some of that decline.
