<p>A proposed new US <a href="https://9to5mac.com/guides/antitrust/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">antitrust[/url] law <a href="https://9to5mac.com/2021/08/11/bipartisan-bill-would-force-apple-to-allow-third-party-app-stores-and-sideloading-on-ios/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">first proposed back in August[/url] of last year has progressed to committee stage – the next step toward becoming law. If it were passed, it would result in huge changes to the App Store.</p>
