Stanford study combines Apple Watch and AI to study pain exacerbation in kids

<div class="feat-image">(https://9to5mac.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2023/09/apple-watch-series-9-vs-8-case-and-display.jpg?quality=82&strip=all&w=1600)</div><p>A new study at Stanford (https://clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT06337526) aims to evaluate how the Apple Watch can play a role in identifying “physiologic, dietary, and environment triggers of severe pain exacerbations” in children with complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).</p>



<p>In addition to the Apple Watch, the study will integrate artificial intelligence technology from clinical research platform Medeloop. Medeloop is described as an “end-to-end, AI-driven platform for conducting early stage clinical research and clinical trials.”</p>
