Today Apple released developer beta 1 (https://9to5mac.com/2024/07/29/ios-18-1-beta-1-now-available/) for iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia 15.1. The update is only available (https://9to5mac.com/2024/07/29/ios-18-1-and-macos-15-1-beta-apple-intelligence/) on devices compatible with Apple Intelligence (https://9to5mac.com/2024/07/01/every-device-that-supports-apple-intelligence/).

Once you install the update, however, you won’t have Apple Intelligence features right away. Instead, Apple is using a waitlist system to grant access to its AI features.
