Title: Kalyway not booting, windows 7 already installed. Please help Post by: sirdeltalot on January 10, 2010, 06:22:56 pm The problem is, when i turn on the computer, press F8 and choose to boot from the DVD-RW drive it simply opens windows as usual.
My hardware is almost identical to that used in the lifehacker guide. I've installed windows 7 on half of the hardrive, leaving the other half unallocated (going to format on install). I've tweaked the bios so all good there. I don't know if this is relevant but I burnt the contents of the ISO file onto the dvd, rather than the ISO file itself (thats right isnt it?)? You have to burn the ISO ( not the content , otherwise will not be bootable .... ) here how to burn : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CVNAyshLM-c Also the partition for OSX must be formated as FAT , then during install format Journaled .
