Verizon Has No "Immediate Future" Plans For Apple Support

We all know most of the Verizon rumors by now, but in an interview with Beet.TV, Verizon Wireless spokesperson, John Johnson, says that there are no immediate plans to support Apple mobile devices.  He says that Verizon is more opting to stick with Android devices and are planning on unveiling a slew of different models this year, which will be able to have features like high quality video recording that would contain outputs along the HDMI line.In other comments, Johnson also mentioned that Verizon is still planning on introducing its 4G network in approximately 25-30 markets in the US this year.  Also in the line up for this year, Verizon will be releasing devices to connect with devices, USB-connected tongles, etc.  The company will then release 4G mobile handsets in 2011.The interview occurred during the All Things Digital ConferenceImage courtesy of sindhtoday.net
