While the iPad is a big hit and sells in huge numbers, many power users still want a fully powered PC operating system running on a touch based device. That’s the market Microsoft is trying to target with Windows 8, and if you thought Apple’s Mac OS X was out of this race, you might be wrong. Apple, of course, made its vision of tablet computing very clear, where many desktop metaphors were left behind, but a third party hardware company named Modbook Inc. hasn’t given up on the idea of an OS X based tablet.
