AT&T's Leak Reveals Politicians Also Love The iPad

According to the AT&T leak of email addresses yesterday, apparently the iPad can now add being bi-partisan to its list of many features, noted DailyTech.  White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel was one of the many who had their addresses leaked.  He's not the only one though. The Washington Post story also lists other iPad users: Senior Advisor David Axelrod, Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton, Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer, and press wrangler Ben Finkenbinder.  Even Economic Advisor Larry Summers is noted to bring his iPad to meetings in order to pull up the numbers.Summers is also noted to love the Bloomberg app, as well as getting down with some Scrabble every now and then.  His first iBook?  "The Federalist Papers".Other Congressional staffers are said to take in some "Lost" episodes, the Vanity Fair magazine app, MLB, NPR, and numerous newspaper apps.Apparently the popularity of Apple's tablet even has head of the Fed, Ben Bernanke considering joining the other team, even though he's been a long time user of Amazon's Kindle.Over on the other side of the aisle, Rep. Jeff Flake (R-Ariz.) is said to have bought an iPad, but notes to his constituents that he'll buy apps in a "fiscally conservative" manner.  Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) has also been seen about town with the iPad.  Veteran Republican consultant Russ Schreifer has the "fully souped-up, 64-gig, 3G version."  When he's not reading "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" and "The War Lovers," he has been known to use the iPad for reviewing and approving rough cuts of campaign commercials and ads.But look no further than YouTube for one very high profile user, Vice President Joe Biden, utilizing his own iPad.If the iPad is this popular in D.C, one can only wonder what might happen when the iPhone 4 comes out!
