Google gets ready to turn over a new leaf with Maps for iOS, Apple may be the only tech company legally able to bring you page turners, and Nintendo turns to iOS apps with in-app purchase. Move over, it’s the remainders for Friday, November 16, 2012’s turn.


Google Preps Maps App for Apple iPhones (Wall Street Journal)


The Journal reports that Google is putting “finishing touches” on a native version of its Maps for iOS. Features will likely include turn-by-turn directions, integrated ads, and, if Google knows what’s good for them, not a single melted Brooklyn Bridge.
