iOS 7 beta 3’s system font change shows Apple listening to feedback
      


         
         
      When iOS 7 was previewed, and subsequently when the first beta came out, many people were not pleased with the radical changes made by Jony Ive and his design team. A major cause of concern was the choice of system font — an ultra thin variant of Helvetica Neue — that looked good, but was extremely hard to read.
The good news is that Apple seems to have realised the advantages of a legible font, and switched to Helvetica Neue Regular in iOS 7 beta 3 that was seeded few hours back.
