Google’s Skybox can predict the next iPhone launch using satellite imagery

Skybox Imaging, an intelligence company that focuses on bringing the power of satellite imagery to other businesses, was recently acquired by Google. But a new profiling of the company done by The Wall Street Journal reveals some very interesting information that will no doubt change how we look at things related to privacy and mapping.
