Title: VT-x/AMD-V workaround Post by: Hozey on July 21, 2010, 12:01:29 pm The Gateway laptop I'm trying to get Mac on doesn't have VT-x/AMD-V hardware acceleration available. I'm a novice to Hackintosh, and know very little about PCs, but have used a Mac for 20+ years, so please bear with me. Is there a way to add it without a lot of expense? Or, is there a workaround? Or, what is the latest version of OS X that could be installed?
Thanks, Hozey Title: Re: VT-x/AMD-V workaround Post by: bokz2 on July 22, 2010, 12:04:27 am I don't know your hardware spec.
Please check the installation result of other various hardware. You should try it if you have a SSE2 or higher processor. Code: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/HCL_10.6.0/Portables |
