News: Apple faces class action suit in California for labor violations

A lawsuit filed by Apple employees in December 2011 has been given class action status, as the company is being sued for labor violations in California, TechCrunch reports. Those alleged violations include not providing employees with timely meal and rest breaks, or timely paychecks. According to the plaintiffs, the case affects approximately 20,000 Apple employees. No financial demands have been made as of yet. Notably, this case is not to be confused…
