[/url]

UK Virgin Media users who are also signed up with subscriptions to Sky Movies or Sky Sports can now watch these channels on the go, via the Sky Movies and Sky Sports apps for the iPhone (http://www.imore.com/iphone-5s) and iPad (http://www.imore.com/ipad).

Virgin Media says:

"Customers with Sky Movies subscriptions can view all 11 Sky Movies channels live and watch over 800 films on demand, via their iPad, iPhone or iPod touch, or on the Sky Movies website. Virgin Media customers can also benefit from Sky Movies cinema finder tool for new releases, and can add upcoming screenings to their personal calendars at the touch of a button, read expert reviews and watch the latest trailers."

As far as the Sky Sports app, users can access its "second screen" capabilities to watch events like Formula 1 races, cricket matches and football games with a lot of extra information. What do you think of Virgin Media adding these features to their iOS apps?

Source: Virgin Media (http://about.virginmedia.com/press-release/9443/virgin-media-customers-get-sky-movies-and-sky-sports-on-the-go)
