<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><div class="video"><div class="video_iframe"><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-3_p1Mh_w7U?rel=0&amp;autoplay=0&amp;wmode=opaque&amp;controls=2&amp;autohide=1&amp;showinfo=0" width="627" height="353" class="video-filter video-youtube vf-3p1mhw7u" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></div></div> <!--/video--> <p>Last week at E3 2015 (http://www.imore.com/tag/e3-2015), Bethesda Softworks revealed plans to release a collector's edition of their upcoming post-apocalypse game Fallout 4, which will include a real Pip-Boy housing that allows you to slot your smartphone inside and wear it on your hand while using it in tandem with a second-screen app. Now the publisher has revealed that the Pip-Boy will come with foam inserts that will fit a number of smartphones, including most of Apple's iPhone models (http://www.imore.com/iphone-6).</p> <!--break--> <p>Officially, the Pip-Boy will work with the iPhone 4 (http://www.imore.com/iphone-4) and 4s, the iPhone 5 (http://www.imore.com/iphone-5) and 5s and the iPhone 6. Bethesda adds:</p>
<p>In addition, using the customizable foam insert you should be able to fit most other popular smartphone devices. As we wanted to stay faithful to the dimensions of the in-game model, any smartphones larger than the models listed will not fit inside the wearable device. For these larger devices, our Pip-Boy companion app will still be available.</p>
<p>Yes, that does mean that the Pip-Boy won't fit the large 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus (http://www.imore.com/iphone-6-plus). The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy collectors edition is now sold out for North American residents, so if you managed to buy one you are very lucky. Europeans will still have a shot of buying the collector's edition, with Bethesda stating, "We are still working out details on final inventory for European territories and expect to have information early next week."</p> <p>Source: Bethesda Softworks (http://www.bethblog.com/2015/06/23/fallout-4-pip-boy-edition-available-again-for-a-short-time/)</p> </div></div></div><img width='1' height='1' src='(http://tipb.com.feedsportal.com/c/33998/f/616881/s/479c09fe/sc/28/mf.gif)' border='0'/><br clear='all'/>
