1Blocker comes to the Mac to keep web trackers off your back

Content blocking app 1Blocker, which first debuted for iPhone and iPad last fall with the release of iOS 9, has launched on the Mac. 1Blocker offers a wide range of controls, allowing you to block trackers, cookies, social widgets, and more. If you use the app on your iPhone and iPad, you'll be able to sync your preferences over using iCloud if you wish.

There's also a 1Blocker extension for Safari, which is recommended by the developer in order to actually block web content in Safari. Using the app, you can control what the extension blocks, while you can whitelist particular domains with just a couple of clicks of the extension.

1Blocker is available in the Mac App Store now.
