U.S. Appeals Court says Apple can be sued for monopolizing the iOS app industry, reversing earlier decision

<p>According to Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/us-apple-court-idUSKBN14W2VH), the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled that users have the right to sue Apple over allegations that the company has created a monopoly in the app industry by only allowing iOS users to install applications from the first-party App Store.</p>
<p>The ruling is a reversal of the decision reached by a lower court in 2013 (https://9to5mac.com/2013/08/16/app-store-monopoly-case-dismissed-by-judge-can-still-be-refiled/), which sided with Apple.</p>
