The EU is Looking to Enforce Data Encryption on All Communications

The European Union could be on its way to bringing data encryption across the board and completely ban backdoor access to devices. The proposal was submitted by the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice, and Home Affairs. This is pertaining to Article 7 of the EU’s Charter of Fundamental Rights, which states every citizen’s right to personal privacy.
