Report: Verizon takes most activations for Q1, data points to why T-Mobile and Sprint have resumed merger talks

CIRP is out today (http://files.constantcontact.com/150f9af2201/40ae683d-2dee-4d54-babe-9c5512972330.pdf) with new data on carrier activations and growth for Q1. Unsurprisingly, Verizon (https://9to5mac.com/guides/verizon/) and AT&T (https://9to5mac.com/guides/att/) took the top two spots for the most activations, but T-Mobile did gain more new customers than any other provider. Additionally, the report gives more details on why T-Mobile (https://9to5mac.com/guides/t-mobile/) and Sprint (https://9to5mac.com/guides/sprint/) have fired up merger discussions again (https://9to5mac.com/2018/04/10/sprint-t-mobile-merger/).
