What you need to know Yes, Snapchat is experiencing some issues. The major outages seem to be affecting users in Europe. The U.S. isn't seeing many outages but you could find yourself affected. Users say they can't send or receive snaps while others say the app won't refresh. Updated 8/14/19: Snapchat is working properly again. Down Detector has upgraded the site to "Possible Problems at Snapchat" which is the normal level. Users shouldn't be seeing the issues they saw yesterday that prevented them from using the app. Snapchat is down for many users around the world. According to Down Detector, the outages mostly seem to be affecting users in Europe, but other parts of the world, including the U.S., could be running into the same issues as well.
