Following Apple TV+ exclusivity backlash, the holiday Peanuts specials will also air on PBS

<p>In October, Apple TV+ announced that it will exclusively stream (https://9to5mac.com/2020/10/19/apple-tv-plus-charlie-brown/) the Peanuts holiday specials as part of a wider deal that includes new Snoopy and Charlie Brown original series. That announcement irked some people, leading to a ~250,000 signature petition (https://www.change.org/p/wildbrain-studios-bring-the-peanuts-specials-back-to-broadcast-tv?utm_content=cl_sharecopy_25372290_en-US%3A0&amp;recruiter=509553416&amp;recruited_by_id=dc998180-ebaf-11e5-aa8c-dfee5c59e439&amp;utm_source=share_petition&amp;utm_medium=copylink&amp;utm_campaign=psf_combo_share_initial&amp;utm_term=petition_dashboard) that asked Apple to keep to tradition and put these specials on broadcast TV.</p>
<p>It seems Apple has listened to the complaints. The company today announced (https://www.apple.com/tv-pr/news/2020/11/apple-and-pbs-team-up-for-special-broadcast-airings-of-a-charlie-brown-thanksgiving-and-a-charlie-brown-christmas/) that PBS will air both Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and Charlie Brown Christmas. </p>
