Title: How to install Snow Leopard onto a partition
Post by: Rezznor on April 14, 2011, 09:02:24 pm
Hello,

I've been interested in installing Mac OS X onto a partition so that I can dual boot Windows and Snow Leopard. I have read how to install Snow Leopard with a blank harddrive but I want to know if it is possible to use the same technique to install the software onto a partition. The method I'm talking about is from Lifehacker. I was also wondering if it would make it easier to buy the Snow Leopard install disk.

Thanks

Yes you can. Search on Dual Boot in www.insanelywind.com. They have excellent tutorials on this topic.
