Title: Upgrading to Kalyway 10.5.3 has killed my Network card
Post by: cabletastic on September 23, 2008, 10:43:42 pm
Hi all - have just upgraded my machine from 10.5.2 to 10.5.3 (Kalyway) and now my Built in Ethernet doesn't work. Cable is in, activity light is on, connection light is on yet OS X shows it as Cable Disconnected. There's no activity on the switchport it is connected to and all the kit is known good (it worked before I upgraded) so god knows what has gone on here. Is there a plist I can nuke to force this to reset , or does anyone have any other bright ideas as to how I can get this back without a reinstall from scratch?
Any help mucho appreciated.
Cheers
Si
P.S. For ref my system is a Dell Optiplex 320 - it was working all fine until about half an hour ago :-(
