Steam for Mac is Now Officially Available to Download

It's the moment you've all been waiting for, Apple faithful. Valve's digital distribution client, Steam, is now officially live for the Mac OS X operating system. Go and download it here. At the moment, only current beta testers will be able to log in, but Valve should be opening the flood gates in no time. Though you won't be able to tap into Valve's library of games, you will be able to download Portal and play through the ridiculously addictive action-adventure puzzle game. Additionally, Runic Games' Torchlight, a role-playing game, will also be available to play. Mac users who purchased The Orange Box through the Steam client for Windows will have access to both Portal and Team Fortress 2, while all other titles will purportedly become available once the client gets out of beta.If you do manage to get into the Steam client today, come over and join our group! Stay tuned for fun events like Frag the Editor Fridays.
