Today, HTC issued a statement claiming that they will be taking legal action against Apple for five patent infringements.According HTC vice president Jazon Mackenzie, "[HTC is] taking this action against Apple to protect our intellectual property, our industry partners, and most importantly our customers that use HTC phones."HTC also filed a request with the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) for Apple to halt sales of the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
