Title: Video Editing Hackintosh
Post by: TheDirector on July 09, 2009, 06:14:45 am
Hello all new to forum. I am an indie director and I need to move from my Intel Mac Mini to a more serious machine for video editing and color correcting with Final Cut Pro and the Magic Bullet Suite. The Mac Mini just does not cut it as the software I am using prefers and needs a dedicated graphics card.

I am looking for something easy to throw together that will give me awesome performance for editing video. I am stuck buying stuff off of Amazon and the total needs to be no more then $950.

I did look at the forum and some better known recipes for Hackintosh builds that work but I need a recipe that not only is easy, works, comes under $950 but also is awesome for video.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have looked at these but I am not sure how they stack up to anything more recent..
