UK iPad Launch Details Revealed

Oh, United Kingdom, you scampy collection of island nations--don't you have enough awesome already? Aren't deep-fried Mars bars, Elton John and Little Britain enough to keep you happy? No? Well, what if your citizens knew when they could finally score an iPad? Would that satisfy you?It would? Perfect!According to Macnn, enthusiastic Britons will be able to pick up an iPad on Friday at the early hour of 8am from any Apple Store in the land. If you're not situated near an Apple Store, don't worry: Currys, Dixons Travel and PC World wil also be carrying the tablet, and will open for business at 9am to quell your tap and swipe desires. Bringing up the rear, Comet, Tesco, Carphone Warehouse and John Lewis will also be selling the iPad, but not for another two months.Meanwhile, across the pond, it seems that some Canadian pre-order customers have recieved word that their iPads are now shipping. If you're from the Great White North and have your heart set on a 3G iPad, you'll want to speak to Rogers about their rate plans.Everything is coming together nicely, don't you think?
