Title: New iPhone question
Post by: hydro on September 29, 2007, 07:25:29 pm
Hi, I just bought a new iPhone and I was wondering if there is any way of checking with firmware version is on it before I unlock it?

I imagine it will be in the "about" section like the ipods
but havnt got my iphone yet...
hoping to get it in early november and very worried about whether im going to be able to unlock it with the new firmware...
no unlocks out atm but if worst comes to worse i can always downgrade and then unlock...i hope...

good luck with the unlocking

its in the setings section   I just got mine last Monday  and it was still the older version. Got installer and some other apps on it as well, vert nice. This is the first apple productni have ever owned and am very impresed with it (posting this with the phone as a matter of fact).  Though iam tempted to go to 1.1.1 for the louder speakers and itunes...  I think its better to keep it cracked till the new firmware is cracked.

Which brings me to a question  i was looking through the pxl packages and saw a plugin for safari. How easy would it be to port over flash support from a source code gotten off the site?

Just go to Settings, General, then About.
Then look for Version.
