Title: Alternate CPU for Hackintosh build
Post by: sundance2009 on December 23, 2009, 07:43:17 pm
I?m about to build a Hackintosh based on the post on ?LifeHacker.com? using Snow Leopard, Gigabyte MB and the Intel Q9650 CPU.
My question is can I build this with any CPU the motherboard will support or do you have to use the Q9650? Would like to use a CPU that cost a less. I don?t need a supper system and $300+ for the CPU is not really something I want to do at this point.

Thanks,

Steve
