This is a  dell dimension 5100, 2.79 Ghz intel core solo with hyperthreading, 2.5 gbs ram.  I added a trendnet ethernet card, an ATI Radeon 2400 HD card (only works with a DVI - VGA adapter and only installing only the ATY-init), also a dynex pci firewire card that lets me hook up to another mac via firewire network (800 speed).  The machine is nothing special but works perfectly, disc images mount, networking successful, full resolution, it goes to sleep and wakes back up, usb drives can be plugged and unplugged.  Had many unsuccessful attempts and unstable systems using combinations of iatkos 7, kexts, and ideneb 10.5.8.  Finally, everything works.  Best of Luck to everyone and can't wait to start my next hackintosh.
