Title: Upgrade to 1.1.1 fails after downgrading to 1.0.2
Post by: magnoliax on December 12, 2007, 02:28:03 pm
Hi,

After upgrading to 1.1.2 and actualizimg via itunes I downgraded to 1.0.2. and changed the baseband to 3.08.14_G with Winscp and Putty. Then I restored to 1.0.2 as a refresh. Now I cannot upgrade to 1.1.1 (unknown error type 1 wit itunes 7.4.2). Is this because the nv ram is still corrupt from anysim. Do I have to revirginize first with http://i.unlock.no/-unlocking tools-virginize script? Or is this because I used my own SIM card instead of an AT&T card? Thanks for your help. Max

you need to revirginize your phone if you are going to run anysim again.
