Apple adds Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Mazda and more partners for CarPlay

<div class="field field-name-body field-type-text-with-summary field-label-hidden"><div class="field-items"><div class="field-item even" property="content:encoded"><p><a href='http://www.imore.com/apple-adds-chrysler-dodge-fiat-mazda-and-more-partners-carplay' title="Apple adds Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Mazda and more partners for CarPlay"><img src='http://www.imore.com/sites/imore.com/files/styles/large/public/field/image/2014/03/carplay_maps_hero.jpg?itok=Ji9dpWnF' />[/url]</p> <p>Apple has just updated its official CarPlay (http://www.imore.com/carplay) website showing several more vehicle manufacturing partners plan to support the company's iOS-based car technology.</p> <!--break--> <p>The newly announced partners include Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Mazda, Jeep, Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Ram. The list also adds Audi, which the car maker itself confirmed a few days ago (http://www.imore.com/audi-confirmed-latest-carplay-partner-2015-launch). All of the new partners plan to integrate support for CarPlay in at least some of their models, but specifics have not yet been revealed.</p> <p>CarPlay will launch sometime later this fall in cars made by Hyundai, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, and Honda. Audi has already revealed plans to add CarPlay in some of its cars planned for release in 2015.
