Verizon to begin throttling heavy 4G LTE data users on October 1st

Verizon has been attempting to lure customers that still have grandfathered unlimited data plans onto its tiered data plans for several years, but some have refused to take the bait. The carrier will take things one step further this fall, as it begins throttling unlimited 4G LTE data users when its network is experiencing high usage.
