File Sharing Still Missing from the iPad

9To5Mac.com is reporting that there are a few features missing from the iPad that were originally showcased in Apple's presentation. The Mac news blog suggests that file sharing and mounting your iPad as a disk drive are two specific features that are missing in OS 3.2. The file sharing feature was demonstrated to journalists and recorded on video. It looked like a promising feature that might have made working on the iPad a bit easier for the lot of us. Unfortunately, the current release of the iPad is lacking this greatly desired feature.   This feature would have transformed your iPad into a large USB thumb drive making it easy for you to exchange files between your computer-based productivity apps and the ones on your iPad. It would have intregrated into Finder on your Mac just like any other drive. Hopefully, this feature will return with the next iPad operating system update. In the meantime, we are all stuck with the cumbersome file transfer between your iPad and your hard disk using iTunes.  We don't know about you, but hopefully Apple offers a fix for this. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment.
