Following a report earlier this morning claiming that iOS 8.1, iOS 8.2 and iOS 8.3 were currently being tested, perhaps indicating a faster software update cycle, Apple has seeded the first iOS 8.1 beta to registered developers for testing. The pre-release software update is available for download through Developer Center for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV, accompanied by a build number of 12B401.
