test their apps on working Apple Watches at Apple's testing facilities, most have not. Additionally, even developers who have been able to do so will want to have a watch to test with going forward. The opportunity that Apple is presenting will allow more developers to get the device in their hands faster than the normal ordering process.</p> <p>It should be noted that Apple does not appear to be offering a special price to eligible developers.
