Tim Cook named as a keynote speaker at Startup Fest EuropeApple CEO Tim Cook will be a keynote speaker at this year's Startup Fest Europe in Amsterdam. The festival is meant to help inspire growth for startups, and Cook will give his talk at 11:10 a.m. local time on May 24.
From Startup Fest Europe:
Tim Cook (Apple) and Travis Kalanick (Uber) have accepted their invitation to come to the Netherlands with great enthusiasm. Neelie Kroes (special envoy StartupDelta) personally invited Cook and Kalanick during her visit to San Francisco together with Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
In addition to Cook and Kalanick, the festival will hear from Alphabet Chairman Eric Schmidt, Airbnb co-founder Nathan Blecharczyk, and Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands. It seems like the end of May could be a busy time for Cook, who is also said to be headed to China towards the end of the month.
