Donald Trump still has over $1 million invested in Apple, even after 'boycott'

According to his new financial disclosure report, presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has at least $1.1 million invested in Apple, along with other companies that he has publicly lambasted. Trump had earlier this year called for a boycott of Apple over its privacy arguments with the FBI.





From the Associated Press:


  "Who do they think they are?" Trump said of Apple in February, when the company balked at hacking an iPhone used by one of the two people in a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California. More recently, Trump pledged to make Apple "build their damn computers and things in this country." Trump holds multiple investments in Apple, which combined are worth between $1.1 million and $2.25 million.


Other companies that have drawn Trump's ire, but in which he still has investments, include Ford Motors and Disney.

Famously, when calling for his boycott of Apple, he did so while his official account was still tweeting from an iPhone.
