Apple Watch takes top spot in J.D. Power smartwatch satisfaction rankingsJ.D. Power has released its latest customer satisfaction report for smartwatches and fitness bands, and Apple came out on top. In the smartwatch category, the Apple Watch netted Apple a score of 852. Rival Samsung was second in smartwatches with a score of 842.
According to J.D. Power, the Apple Watch ranks particularly high in comfort, style, and ease of use. The overall customer satisfaction score for smartwatches came in at 847, with 19% of respondents reporting that they've experience at least one issue with their smartwatch. The most common issue appears to be that the battery doesn't last long enough. Other problems include broken charger and customization problems.
The report measures the satisfaction of 2,949 people who purchased a smartwatch in the last 12 months. The survey measured that satisfaction across a number of categories, including comfort, battery life, phone features, and price.
