Apple's Making Record Quarters Par for the Course
Apple on Tuesday announced yet another record quarter, as widely expected. Revenues for its fiscal 2011 third quarter totaled nearly $28.6 billion, and quarterly net profits hit a new high of just over $7.3 billion. International sales accounted for 62 percent of revenue in this quarter. Sales of iPhones and iPads were strong, as were sales of Macs.
