Apple posts holiday shipping deadlines
If you’re planning on giving the gift of Apple products this holiday season, you might want to fire up your calendar. The company has posted the deadlines for customers to order products if they want to receive them before Christmas.
Purchasers of iPads, iPods, iPhones, Macs, gift cards, and more will want to take a look at the list, which provides dates for both next day shipping as well as free standard shipping. In most cases, you still have a few days left to place your order—unless, that is, you want an engraved iPad mini, in which case that ship has already sailed.
It’s worth noting that many of Apple’s products aren’t available for next-day shipping, including the iPad mini, iPhone 5, customized Macs, and engraved products. Also, the company’s new iMacs don’t have a hard-and-fast shipping date; you’ll need to add them to your cart to check the expected delivery date. The same is true if you want to pick up your order at an Apple Store.
Really, it’s just too bad that Apple doesn’t offer a same-day shipping for Christmas Eve. But there’s probably one jolly old elf who doesn’t mind the lack of competition.
