How to update from iOS 9 beta to the official iOS 9 release

If you're one of them, or if you're stuck on the beta and aren't sure how to get off, here's what you need to do to switch to the official release version!<!--break--></p> <ol><li>Make sure you've updated to the latest version of <strong>iTunes</strong>.</li> <li><strong>Plug</strong> your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into your computer using your USB to Lightning cable.</li> <li><strong>Agree</strong> to trust the computer if your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch asks.</li> <li><strong>Perform an encrypted backup</strong> of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch—just in case.</li> <li>Click <strong>Update</strong> or <strong>Restore</strong>.

</li> <li>iTunes will then download the iOS 9.0 software for you to install on your device.</li> </ol><p>If iTunes says there's no newer version to update to, you can force the issue by putting your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch into DFU mode after backing up, then doing a restore.
