How to use Safari Split View on iPadHow do you open two browser windows, side-by-side, on your iPad? With the new Safari Split View!
When Split View debuted, the idea was to present two apps, side-by-side, on your iPad. Immediately, of course, everyone wanted to be able to do the same thing with two browser tabs in Safari. Enter Safari Split View. New to iOS 10, it lets you open new tabs, or switch existing tabs, into a limited form of Split View. It's landscape only and 50/50 only, and while it can be used with side over and picture-in-picture, it can't be used in combination with multi-app split view. Even so — it's incredibly useful.
