It looks like Sprint is about to join Club iPhone. The wireless network could become the Apple smartphone's third U.S. wireless carrier in October, just in time for the holiday season, according to a recent Wall Street Journal report. That's also the time frame in which Apple is expected to release the fifth generation of iPhone, though the company has not officially announced a date.
