Google releases 3D maps app for iOS months before Apple’s will be ready
Google's 3D images for Google Earth, in 13 cities, are now available for iPhone 4S, iPad 2 and new iPad users. Google smartly pushed out the update for its app months before Apple will make its own 3D-capable mapping app for iOS available to the public.
