iPhone 5 best selling smartphone on T-Mobile, as iOS marketshare in US grows by 3.5%
T-Mobile started selling the iPhone 5 from April this year, and in just a few months the device has become the best selling smartphone on the network, accounting for nearly a third of the sales. The availability of the iPhone on additional carriers helped increase iOS’ U.S. marketshare by 3.5 percent, while Android’s share remained almost the same.
