Increasingly, cameras housed in mobile phones and tablets are performing respectable imitations of the point-and-shoots that we once stuffed into purses and pockets. Although the dedicated digital camera is hardly dead, there are more and more occasions when one of these gadget-bound snappers will do. Take the camera you find in your iPad, for example. Not only can it capture decent images, but the device it inhabits can be stocked with apps that can edit and enhance those images.
